I asked Joey if he wanted to Skype with his Dad and he said, "Yeah, I really miss him." It was nice to see him share his feelings unprompted.
I think this year Joey understood his Dad leaving more than previous years. I guess it comes with maturity. I'm glad he can express his emotions more but I'm wondering if he understands it more, does it also mean that it hurts him more?
This blog is about my 8 year old son Joey and our journey into diagnosing his PDD-NOS and Epilepsy, learning from it and helping others, as well as being a great place to store all the information I gather along the way.

Need a blankie?
You need a blankie? Joey then put the blankie on me, put the computer on my lap and then wrapped himself in it. My sweet boy.

Being Italian
I believe hanging out with my Italian relatives made an impression on Joey. Not sure if it was good or bad. Today, for the 1st time, Joey hate linguine with marinara (this is good). Unfortunately, after too much time with Uncle Vinny P., he is telling everyone he us going to put the "kibosh" on them and then saying "Capiche?" (maybe not so good).
